Gas prices are high...but at least we have cars!

A recent look at any news media, will let you know that gas prices are rising and probably won't be going back down any time soon. Does this mean we are doomed to all give up are luxury or sports cars for economy or sub-compact cars? Or maybe we won't have any choice but to give up vehicle ownership and opt for public transportation? After all, the reason there is tax and no direct regulation on gas prices charged to the consumer is because it is a luxury. Now i know what you're thinking: "yeah right luxury, you try to get by without a car", But the fact is that there are several people in every city, big & small, who get by every day without owning their own vehicle.

Now public transportation is not perfect, there is the issue of convinience with public transportation in smaller or medium sized cities since a lot of people have tight schedules nowadays, but it can be done, and in poorer countries, many people must do it.
China, until recently, had very strict regulations on vehicle ownership and people "got by" without them just fine, now you might be thinking: "yeah but it's different from here in canada". Not really, although we may be somewhat more industrially & technologicaly advanced, when it
comes to city structure, China is practically as advanced in it's cities as Canada is.

Now you may be thinking:" well, why don't you sell your car and use public transportation then!" No i don't think i'll do that, not because i don't think i could get by without it, because i could, but because i don't want too, but i understand that i must pay a price for this luxury and i budget myself for it. It'd be too easy to just complain about gas prices in an effort to have them lowered or controlled by the government in order to be able to afford driving around all the time, doing pointless errands that could be grouped together or just driving around for the heck of going for a drive, we've all done it and most of us still do it, but all this whining of "high gas prices" and "unfair gas prices" and "unfair high gas prices" really fails to tackle the bigger issue which never really gets resolved aslong as we depend on motor vehicles to do the job for us, the issue which probably won't get nearly the attention it deserves in the media...unsurprisingly and it will probably continue to plague the modern world for years to come...what could it be? It's simple...chronic laziness.

Everyone has days when they are down, worn out, anxiety panic attack symptom and just not feeling all that happy.

That's OK, you need to have days like this, otherwise how would you know when you are happy. You need to have something to contrast your happiness with. What is black without white?

Even though you know that sadness (anxiety panic attack symptom) is a part of life, let's try to make it a small part of life.

With that said, here are a few tips to help you feel better when you are feeling down in the dumps. They are easy to do, easy to practice every day and they work!

1. Stand up straight, sit up straight. When your body is in alignment your energy can flow and when your energy is flowing freely, you can flow.

2. Smile! Yes, just smile. Easy to do and effective.

3. Repeat positive affirmations. Things like "I feel good", "Positive energy flows through my body", "I see the good in all".

4. Listen to some music that you like. It doesn't have to be anything specific, just something you enjoy. Certain types of music work better than others, but experiment and see what works for you. Studies have shown that Classical music and new age music work best.

5. Take some time out for yourself, relax and read a book, do something for yourself.

6. Meditate. Meditation is an excellent habit to develop. It will serve you in all that you do. If you are one who has a hard time sitting still, then try some special meditation CDs that coax your brain into the meditative state. Just search for "Meditation music" on Google or Yahoo and explore.

Our outside work is simply a reflection of our inside world. Remember there is no reality just your perception of it. Use this truth to your advantage. Whenever you are sad, realize that it is all in your mind and you do have the power to change your perception.

These tips will lift you up when you are down, but don't just use them when you are sad or anxiety panic attack symptom . Try and practice them everyday, make them a habit. You will be surprised at how these simple exercises will keep the rainy days away.

On a final note, if you are in a deep depression that you can't seem to shake, please go see a doctor. This is your life and don't take any chances. anxiety panic attack symptom
